  1. It looks like you had a wonderful 4th of July. It's difficult photographing fireworks. You did a great job! My favorite one is the first one with the kids on top of the suburban. It adds interest. Blessings, Tina

    1. Thanks Tina! I shot the pictures at ISO 6400. They were hand-held so not quite as clear as they could have been. But it was fun because a local radio station had patriotic music playing so we, and quite few others, had our windows rolled down and the music blaring!

  2. I struggle to get good fireworks photos and we don't have enough opportunities to take them here in Perth. The big ones are for Australia Day in January.

  3. Great pics - I could almost hear the bangs! We have our fireworks every November 5th and photographing them can be quite a challenge.You did good!

    1. Hi Kelly-Marie, I'll do a post next Friday on how to take firework/nighttime shots.

      I used ISO6400 for these.
      Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
      1/200 sec f/4.5
